Any serious fan of A Perfect Circle must see them live at least on one occasion, as they sound phenomenal and provide an unparalleled musical experience. Their performance at the Hollywood Bowl on May 7th was truly an unforgettable event. At one point in the show, Keenan remarked that as artists, “we are emotional merchants.” To me, that sums up exactly what A Perfect Circle is, if not much, much more.

Each song on the EP stands independently, but in its entirety, Not The Actual Events is smart, reflective, intellectual, and damn good to listen to.
